Briscione is currently the Director of Culinary Development at ICE. On Food Network’s Chopped, Briscione walked away the first-ever two-time champ. He then moved to New York City and became a sous chef in Daniel’s private dining room. He quickly graduated from biscuit making to working for James Beard award-winning chef, Frank Stitt at Highlands Bar & Grill in Birmingham, Alabama, eventually becoming Stitt’s chef de cuisine. Briscione passed up a college football scholarship to spend more time in kitchens. James Briscione began his culinary adventures as a dishwasher at a brunch joint on Pensacola Beach and never looked back. She holds a PhD from MIT in Design Computation, an MFA in Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques from Pratt Institute, and a BA in Mathematics/Computer Science from Mount Holyoke College. Jacquelyn was selected as an IBM Master Inventor in 2011 and is active in ACM/SIGGRAPH, the Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Graphics and Interactive Techniques, chairing the SIGGRAPH conference in 2008. Her current work includes Chef Watson, an application that brings the power of cognitive computing to consumers, helping them create entirely new and surprising dishes. She has a deep curiosity for understanding what makes people tick and a passion for leveraging her skills in design thinking and agile development to create awesome products and services.Ĭurrently in the IBM Watson Group, she is shaping user experiences for the emerging "cognitive" era.
